Be warned that the "from the manufacturer description" is out of date, Vermont American was a great American tool company that held out as long as they wanted, but have recently moved production to China, the description clearly says "made in USA" but these are from the new Chinese production. V/A has quite some nerve still naming their company Vermont "American" and Amazon needs to update the product description to reflect the new V/A product line.
As for the quality of the product. don't expect much as you did not pay much. But don't blame the Chinese manufacturer, V/A execs approved the poor quality of this set and said "yep that's fine, -- 80% profit right?"
I was hoping from the description that that this was some of the old production from a year or two ago, left over in stock, but alas I was sorely disappointed.
Bottom line, they will tap a hole, the case will be broken when it arrives, and the drills will dull in 25 holes, but it was $20, and all i wanted was a few holes tapped here and there.
